Sounds great.
A tune by 2-Pac would be fantastic. |

Wow! Do we see a release of River Raid before Bridge Strike?
I love River Raid. I made a version of it myself, around 1988/89, but it was only half-finished (as most of my games during that period). |

River Raid has to be one of the best games ever made. Do the graphics suck? Yep. Is the sound terrible? Absolutely. But what an incredible game.

Good Choice. One of the best arcade like game from 1982. If it's gameplay wise in the same league as the 8bit computer ports i'm thrilled.

Would be lovely if you could upload that video to a site where people don't get mal- and adware installed by just trying to download.
How about Youtube. |

When I had my Atari 800XL around 10 years old, I had River Raid on Cassette tape.
Now there were three reasons I liked the game: The first was that most Atari games took about 4 fucking weeks to load from cassette but this game loaded in about 45 seconds (probably due to very high speed dubbing and a TP15 tape) The second reason was that I loved the game as it was very simple, yet very challenging and never seemed to be repetitive And the third reason was that most games were created by men, and this was the first I'd seen created at the time by a woman...Carol Shaw. so... take a bow Carol Shaw...absolute legend. Yup, River Raid is an absolute classic
...as is PitFall!. I had both (along with Adventure) on my Atari 2600 and were probably the first "console" games that I ever played |
