HD only golf game?
1. Possible name of game
pass. the word golf probably appeared somewhere 2. Game genre (General) golf. sports. simulation. 3. Game genre (Specific) definitely golf. 4. Viewpoint First-person. It is a golf game. Or is that 3rd Person? 5. General dates Early '90s. 6. Commercial status In a box, multiple disks, hd only. Probably quite a high profile release, American I think, aimed at the US market. 7. Other specific info My mate gave me this game because he didn't have a hard drive. It was pretty unplayable on a 1200 because the super advanced rendering took sooo long every time you took a shot. You got to see it rendering too, wireframe first, then filled back to front then the scenery got added. Trees and shrubs and the like. I think it must have been aimed at A3000 owners; it was non aga + hd only. (Probably a pc version too). I wouln't mind having another look just to see what it should play like on a fast enough box.(or emu.) |

I UL'd it to the Zone..and it is ugly as hell
I used to play it a lot in the late '80s and early '90s, the course designer kept it alive. It seems that there's also a few course disks available, the game itself contains four courses. |

It's not really fair, because this game has 8-bit ugliness written all over it. It's not proper Amiga ugliness.

I remember this "Mean 18" golf game once was a top flop in ASM (at least I remember it was this magazine) so you guys have some press support for this game's ugliness :-)
