A590 power input; manual/schematics

Looked at "the two sites" and Big Book has some jumper info, but unless I've gone blind I can't find any docs on it.

My main question is whether the power input is the same as for "all" the other harddisk interfaces (5-pin round plug) or if I have to rewire the plug from my Trumpcard 500 Pro.

"I seem to have found it." (c) Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Service Manual is in the Zone!

It's not the same power connections (it's 4-pin, for starters ), but it should be easily hackable.

Easy to trace the wires, even without the proper PSU, nor the manual: check the molex connector!

In it you'll find the +5, +12 and 0V lines (all an A590 needs to be happy). Just checks the continuity to the back connector from it.

I'll have a go at the A590 after I sort the slow drive speed when using 68040 on my GVP, see the speed comparison thread here.

That appears to be the same set of scans as the file available here:

However those downloads are not much faster than dial-up speed, so thanks for the upload!

Yeah, seems to be the same. Homelib is not Amiga-centric and has quite a bit of stuff tho.
