Uae boot rom cannot be used with ppc native os

Hi guys i have search this problem but cannot find any answer to my problem.

first what ive allready tried.
Minimal configuration no expansions from uae ,
tried different kickstart roms (a4000 - 3.1/3.x cloante )
It seems to work on winuae if i rely on google searches..
The thing is i think i have a newer version of os4.1 fe classic.
So probably something is different...
log files dont give me some clue,

Bought the Amiga os4.1 fe classic at hyperion entertainment by using direct download.

At the moment uae rom extensions doesn't work with AOS4 in FS-UAE. Frode work on it.

@mazhive Hmm, I don't see anything obvious in that config which should enable the UAE boot ROM. Will try to reproduce the problem.

Chip memory size is wrong. (But UAE expansion support would not help anything, chip ram size must not be more than 2M when using OS4.)

Thanks I tested the config and can confirm that dropping the chip memory option makes FS-UAE not enable the UAE boot ROM.

Thank you for the respond both Toni and Frode i have decreased the chipmem to 2MB it seems i have gone further then ever with the 2mem chip.
Now i get past the violet screen and it is booting up...the cd. seems to work oke i am really pleased to see the workbench appear.. i am so happy i have been puzzling and figuring out what could be wrong but never thought that 4mb chipmem would cause this.
I am so exited to use this on my to build Intel Core i7 6700K 4.00 GHz Unlocked Quad Core Skylake Desktop on an ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VIII HERO..
Right now i am using it on a laptop and it takes ages to see the workbench but ,....it seems to work.. on my laptop...
I really appreciate your input and it solved my problem.. thank you guys...

Logs are filling up but i have not yet investigate it i was so exited to see the progress i forgot the log files..

Oke i have tried some things now i have the same error after i add a folder as a hdd. can some one confirm this ?? and why ?

settings aren't' any different 1 boot hdd with os4.1
one folder as hdd.

removing the folder in fs-uae it boots correctly
i tried some boot priority values but that does not seem to work.

Folders need uae boot rom and doesn't work at the moment.

I got the same "UAE boot rom cannot be used PPC native OS" pink screen.. No extentions are selected,,, just the default Amiga PPC model selected.

I do have Qumu plugin. I'm running stable version 2.8.3

Must be be using dev version?

Fixed : I was using directory Hard drives..


I had issues with booting fom HD< so i just booted from CD (image) and updated "bootable" and "saved to disk" and reset Amiga (FS-UAE)

All works ok now, except the OS looks like its gone through a cement mixer..... The resolution is crap, probably because Picasso failed to load at boot. (Attached ) is what i see. How do I fix this ?
