Click! Magazine
Does anybody remember 'Click' magazine?
It was a UK Video (VHS) magazine, set in an office... one of the reviewers went on to play the hardnut with the spiky hair in Red Dwarf VIII. I think the editor's first name was Tony, and I can't remember his surname, although I think he went on to better times. Does anyone remember it, or have any VHS videos of it still? It's circa 1990/91/92 I think. Please tell me if you do, because I threw mine out, and regret it ever since |

Hey P-J,
The actor you remember is Jake Wood who Played Kill Crazy in Red Dwarf. Been involved with the Red Dwarf Fanclub now since '92 so have duplicated your post on the official fanclub forum as its the kind of random thing one of that lot will have laying about. Will let you know if anything turns up. |

Funny, was afraid you was talkin' about a polish, paper PC magazine...
Yeah, i was AFRAID... 'couse it's THE LAMEST and most childish incarnation, in the history of paper mags ... but that's just usual when it comes to PC mags i guess |

I remember buying the December issue from WH Smiths on the way to the family annual visit-your-uncle-at-Christmas excursion. Pre-internet, seeing games actually brought to life was a rare treat so I'm surprised it was such a flop.
Does the needle get stuck on this video or does the intro guy ask us not to judge it too harshly because it's meant to be cheesy half a dozen times? Alright, we get it! I'll sign a sarcasm waiver in blood if that helps. Edit: Actually, now I've re-watched both issues 21 years later it's not at all surprising that it was a flop. Everything about it is amateurish. It's not knowingly *nod, wink* cheesy, just really feeble journalism. This reminds me of a friend I had around the same time who told me he deliberately failed his 11+ because he didn't want to go to grammar school.
