the problem is not the ripping...the problem is getting the right palette for the tiles...
some color registers were used by the program for trees first...but some lines under that threes the same color register is used for rocks...it seems that the game changes the color registers really fast while playing and the problem is that we can´t rip the tiles together...it really hard to understand...have a look... in the first picture the first 2 pics are really correct as we like to have them, but the trees are bad drawn... in the second picture we have the opposite where the trees are ok, but not the rocks... both pictures where made at the same position and using the same palette...the difference between them is that the savestates were made in different game positions... at the end we only have to combine both pictures manually to get a perfect result which means really hard work... the same problem is in all other level tiles... |

I had the same problem with the background tiles in chuck rock I could find one tile which was correct but all the rest would have the wrong colours. But the tiles you have don`t need much editing, you just need to remove the bad tiles then arrange the rest.
