As an end user, I don't see any major differences when both 68060 and 68080 are classic Pentium class level CPUs.
68K at Pentium II level would be welcome.
I have my own Amiga 1200 Rev 1D4 waiting to be expanded and higher clocked 68060 beyond 50Mhz or 68080 is desirable. I can source my own 68060 CPU.
My Amiga 1200 is currently being re-capped.
