Update on my bootfair c64.
Built a nicer power supply using a junction box. Ended up etching a PCB to mount everything as I thought hot glue would be a problem with heat.
Cleaned up both drives, oiled the drive shafts and cleaned the heads. One is working fine, the other seems to have problems seeking. Still working on that.
As I have no way of loading software I built a PI1541 on breadboard (I had all the parts) which works nice.
