The Amiga scene certainly wasn't dead or dying 4 or 6 years ago. There was a low point for Classic interest in the late 90s and early 00s when the last users of expanded systems either turned to next gen stuff or left the Amiga entirely. I bought a Blizzard 1260 for €100 around that time
But since then interest in the systems and prices have steadily been rising.
