Hmm, but I don't think it is the 1MB chipram that makes troubles with some games, but it is more the kick 2.0 which comes with the A-600.

As far as I know only fastram can cause problems with old games.
I have no idea about programming, but I heard that with these very old games some part of them is first loaded into the upper 512k if it exists, but the game needs to have this part in chipmemory, and therefore will crash since the custom chips cannot access it.
But if ( like in the A-600 ) the ful 1MB is chipram then this problem shouldn't occur.
