Yes, I agree. We have discussed the issue before and come to the conclusion that there would be too much work involved in removing them all now, especially as many sets of screens form neat grids in multiples of four.
However, I'm going to suggest that RCK implements a new feature where screens can be marked as spoilers and replaced with a blank screen by default. They could then be turned on with an option if so desired.
