I have the Above Quickshot and yes it does work in 2 button mode under Sega , altho not tested it with Gloom Deluxe.

Given that stick has MSX and Amstrad in the selection I'd guess its a master system stick and not a mega drive stick so set to Sega it should work fine with 2 button inputs. If set to Amiga does it refer to 1 button?
