Also I seem to remember the Amiga 1541 filesystem handler might have had a metafile show up inside the disk that allowed you to copy out a d64. Time to read some manuals and doc files. :-)

I am getting back to playing around with this. I didn't have any luck learning the DD command. Would you mind giving me some pointers or an example code to copy a floppy to a file?
If I understand correctly, the DD comand should do a bit for bit copy of the floppy right?
