Just something I have noticed - Photoshop (version 7 and CS2) seem to be absolutely lousy at selecting a good mix of 256 colours, even when you choose Selective, Perceptive etc.

I find that PPaint 7 on the Amiga picks a far better range of colours when reducing an image. I'm not sure what algorithm it uses but I've always been impressed by PPaint due to this!
