Help with creating the cheap kickstart switcher from aminet.

http://aminet.net/hard/hack/cheapestksw.lha (added a .doc and jpg for people)

I am trying to create a version of this switcher for my A600 using 3 different roms. (1.3>2.04>3.1)

I have tried different methods and so far have failed. I have just now snapped the CS pin from my kickstart 3.1.

Is there anyway to fix a snapped kickstart rom leg?

I have had many different opinions and diagrams on how this kickstart switcher works.

So am I correct in thinking that :

  • CS legs are not soldered together. They are individually bent out sideways.
  • +5v legs are not soldered together. They are individually bent out sideways.
  • A 10k resisitor is added to each +5v leg
Basically I kinda of understand the +5v side of it.

I have no idea what to do with these CS legs!

Do I attach a wire from between the resistor and first wire to the ROMS CS leg?

I have had differing opinions from 3 different people and I still cannot get this to work.

Snapping the 3.1 CS leg was the final straw
