Yes for any modern IDE device connected to Amiga IDE you need to change the Max_Transfer only very old HDD's or real SCSI drives you don't need to do this

I got my A1200 running and I am starting to understand WB again
whdload is fun. I installed Barbarian 2 (dungeon of drax) but it's way too fast to play. I thought it was maybe the 040 but removing that card and so playing on a basic A1200 was still way too fast.
is there a setting in whdload to slow things down? Or maybe a setting somewhere which downclocks the cpu?
Its pretty amazing a A1200 is so much faster then A500.
EDIT: Oh in your video you partition your CF on a real Amiga. Why not in UAE?
