So does using a 50pin cdwriter really slow down the scsi chain on CStormPPC? Is it because the 50pin to 68pin adapter terminates 18 pins and it's unavalible for the rest of the devices? What if the 50pin device is at the end of the chain?

Does anyone know where one could find a cheap 68pin cdrom cdwriter (or dvdrom - writer)? Preferably new or nos. I don't think it's possible to find one here in Turkey.
