I have to say that I'm with Amigajay on this one; hence why I bumped the thread.
I mean,
everyone goes through shite / massive, life changing stuff at times that is very difficult to deal with, see my
post #263 in this thread.
I feel for him, really I do. Thankfully though, it sounds like his marriage etc. is back on track and I'm very happy to hear that
...but also, at the end of the day; business is business. If you cannot fulfil something for whatever reason then, that's cool, just keep your game developers / clients aware of details and provide a rough ETA if possible.
Once that's been done then it's up to the game developers / clients to either:
a) say that's ok and be willing to wait x amount of time.
b) decide to look for other alternatives.
Again, I don't think this is being harsh, this is business, and both sides need to communicate.
