Who reckons he's secretly a closet gay? Perhaps the lover of a regular member of this BBS?

Fred, do you know Sir Alan?

I wrote a letter to Alan in 2002 about a move that would have saved the eMailer plus but must have never got it. It was shortly before 192 was opened up for competition. The eMailer could do 192 lookups for 3p per number and the average price of 192 was 30p/min! They could have pushed the marketing and owned the small business market.

I wrote him another letter in 2003 showing how the eMailer plus could be used to send and receive SMS text messages for next to nothing, just a bit of software and a marketing push targeting parents who cannot operate or do not have mobile phones!

Finally again in 2003 I sent him a letter showing how the eMailer plus could become a base-station for mobile phones so that when you are in the house you can make landline calls with a mobile handset. One cheap extra circuit and again no reply.

Terrible waste.
