Link has a picture for physical problem of cdtv and kipper2k's board. Red arrow shows a capasitor, wich is highest part of mobo. It needs to be replaced, or ide/ram board sits skewed or you can't close you cdtv case.

The signals can be got from the DMA connector.
I never had a problem fitting the board, the lid closed O.K.
The Ram is a problem with the CDTV, some can get it to work, others can't. I never got it to work.
