I can help with some of those questions.

Running NTSC games on a PAL Amiga is not a problem as it default to that screen refresh and run normally, however when running PAL games on an NTSC Amiga you will lose 20% of the bottom of the screen and the game will run too quick in places, mainly game play and music will be sped up 20% in some cases this can make a game unplayable at worse and annoying at best..
