AGA EHB also seems to have at least one unexpected feature:
It seems half-brite selection bit value (plane 6) is taken before XOR operation. XOR $20 won't make the whole display darker (if plane 6 is cleared) but instead it works like normal mode, color 0 becomes color 32, color 1 becomes color 33 (with normal brightness) and so on.
