Hey Drake I guess your a fan of qwak... eh? Blitz does have simple collison functions but I dont use them they are not accurate enough, I just make a note of the 4 corners of a sprite and if any combination hit anther sprite then I do something else, like stop the sprites moving on the X axis etc.

I use a Dim array to display and position the Level tiles and Types to create the Fruit/Pickups/ Enemies etc.

I dont want to use the same level in the Original I want to make new ones... dont know if ill go for the full 100 but you never know.
