A590 does not need any special hdtoolbox versions.

Original A590 hdtoolbox only supports SCSI-1 drives and returns "Drive does not support INQUIRY" or something like that if drive is SCSI-2.. (don't remember the exact error)

Double check termination and SCSI IDs. Drive and controller must have different ID.
