I have added copper shim to my card. This modification gains a recommendation.
Both my cards now have this.
By adding copper shim my fastest card now boots for the first time at 390Mhz,but needs a little more work to retain this speed.
When adding shim be sure not to go near the edge of the heatsink,its not completely 90 degrees.
Round off edge of shim for maximum contact with heatsink.
NOTE: not all of Phase 5 heatsink are the same,there are three types. Their look the same but their are not,so depth of shim required will be different.
