@Crinax - Did you get this to work?

I am having the same problem myself on my Mac... I've created a folder under "Documents/FS-UAE/" called "Shaders", and put a couple of shader files into it.

In the advanced settings I have a line with this key:
shader = "/Users/[myname]/Documents/FS-UAE/Shaders/shadername.shader"

But no matter what shader I try, I get the message "Shader not found" when I run FS-UAE. I have tried a couple different paths; user root, document root etc but all report that no shader found. Looking at the log files, the path naming seem to be correct, so I'm wondering what else could be wrong...
