Then perhaps I'm wrong .
However, in these cases why did they solder a non-rechargeable battery to the board? This sounds stupid, since a Lythium battery has a limited life (long, but limited. 3..5 years).
PCs did use CR-like batteries, but with sockets and not soldered to the mainboard...
