Huh? Maybe it was you who didn't understand..
"Postscript detection" = automatic print job flush (detects PostScript start and end), Ghostscript is not used -> for real Postscript printers. (This works in old UAE versions but flushing was not automatic)
"Postscript emulation" = use Ghostscript and detect start and end -> for non-PostScript Windows printers with automatic flush. (most users)
