No problem to create 50 Hz modes - by default they are hidden on my laptop. With my monitor starting from 24 kHz 320x400 is the smallest one that works...
...testing...Geesus, what happened - I could create working 320x240 and 320x200 to my external BenQ FP222W. Never before succeeded so something in the latest NVidia drivers has changed. So my 24 kHz monitor did 320x200@60 Hz! And it was a little difficult to get out from that mode and to find the sliders and buttons... A grab from the 320x200@60 screen - looked pretty bad when my monitor scaled it to 1680x1050...
