You can edit the startup-sequence file when you hold both mouse buttons on startup and then enter
ed s:startup-sequence
in the Shell window.

Short: They contain the relocation offsets (compressed) of ROM functions if I'm not wrong. Explanation can be found in the readme of this archive:
