Definately get a graphics card if you can - BVision or a PCI card (if you have a Mediator). Radeon 9250 from Elbox works nicely and with hardware compositing
BVision has fastest write speeds though as it's directly connected to the accelerator and doesn't have to go through Zorro (which is slower).
