What's so difficult in replacing a file on your harddisk and try it out? To me, it seems like all the "negative" reports (before software update) have now silently updated and don't complain any more. That's very common in product support: If the problem is solved, there is no more feedback, but if the problem persists, eMails continue. At this point, there is not a single open case from 040/060 users, so my guess is that the problem is solved for good.

I figured I'd wait a while to see if another update came around but looks like v1.7 is it so I'm sending my unit back to Amigakit to send to you in the hopes a reflash or whatever you try will get this working once & for all in my A4000
