Believe me, its not.
I am doing 3D for my living almost 2 decades, and year a go, for the fun, I started playing with Lightwave 5, on my winuae ultra mega super A4000
, and while it was relatively easy to figure out almost every single option (todays 3d apps are much more complex), its just very uncomfortable to work with, todays standard.
Let me point just one thing:
There is no undo in the editor.
All in all, to be able to produce animation of the quality of Worms, anybody would have to invest lots of time, trials and errors, and render tests.
