Left and Right borders
I cannot find the eab post that Toni made a long time ago, but he said that the gfx corruption you get in the overscan borders (graphics being drawn when they shouldnt be) were due to an inproperly emulated register.
Toni also went on to say that with the current state of the code fixing this register was quite difficult and as it wasnt that important he was going to leave it.
Any chance this can be revisited? If not point me in the direction of the old EAB post so I can refresh my memory on what this was about.
