I've havn't got a Minimig yet, but I'm getting more interested. Just read on Amiga.org that Dennis has released new firmware for the Minimig,
which he has made available on his website:

It's changelog:
some bugs have been fixed, added error posting and added support for 256KB roms and 256KB/512KB encrypted roms.

And there's someone else working on a fireware update. He seems to have PAL/NTSC switching and VGA output with interpolation:
