You can actually turn that off. I have a 100hz Loewe where you can turn all that crap off and the picture is ultra sharp, no smearing, no ultra smoothing and, most importantly, no 50Hz flickering. My Amiga on this TV looks great.

Again all that can be fixed with setting adjustments. I have no issues with "jerkiness" (whatever that may be) with mine. Games that scroll both horizontally and vertically are perfectly smooth.
