Well actually you can convert a PC power supply. You have to use a good VOM and label the individual wires. I had at onetime found a supply house that sold the actual A500 square power connector. If you can't locate this then you would need to cut-off your existing connector with some slack to splice into. I did this with my original A500.

This kind of project is not for the beginner or novice.
