I've fixed the link to the manual (it had been corrupted by cut & paste ), but the information is essentially the same as that given on the SoftHut site.

Just ease them out by using a thin-bladed small or jewellers' screwdriver, inserting it under each end of the chips in turn and lifting the chip out a bit at a time until they pop out.
