This one at last allowes me to replace large amounts of text in large text files without having to wait ten hours. It seems to do this a little faster than CygnusEd on said config. Great mate!

Still makes you wonder, a little bit faster than CygnusEd when replacing text. The peecee I use is 50 to a 100 times faster than my Amiga. Strange

Thanks guys. I'll be using both programs. Finally my text editing peecee suffering has ended

But... are there any more? Just curious
