Perhaps.. the soundcard wasn't made by creative
also the motherboard doesn't have a speaker header, it has a squeaky thing directly soldered onto the motherboard, so desoldering that, and wiring up to a nonexistent header is probably not the way to go sound quality wise
I could of course use another computer, but that would be too easy!
