If you had read anything into the subject, you can see this is a one time process since you can make the whole deal resident in RAD too...
It's not like having a floppy in there and taking some extra seconds to boot is any problem.
Also,,if you make your own custom kickstart, you can have this defualt, effectively booting FROM PCMCIA.
