Well what a moron I was, XMPlay wasn't showing me the subsongs and my skin has no specific UI element for subsongs, so I thought there were none. Now I can read them, thanks for making me go look again, Asle.
What is the difference between "music1" and music2" though? I get all the same subtunes. Not even sure all the tunes in the S3M rip are here, there's only ten subtunes on each file and as I said both are equal. Is this rip really complete? It doesn't seem to me, unless XMPlay is not playing all the tunes.
