Side-scrolling games are easier to develope.
TOGI and II were zelda-style games and the engine was more complex plus there was much more text in my previous Gorluth games.
HOG is based on action with some RPG/adventure elements.
The best thing is that HOG plays like a widescreen film regarding the screen setup and it has a good framerate. Plus I found a way to use more than one fixed palette and so the game is very colourful whilst using 16 colours plus nice copper backgrounds.
Currently I´m using 6 different palettes.
