Your not alone mate don't think like that bud, I think your family are in a state of shock still. I had a similar thing when my Mum passed away a few years ago.
I bet your one of the youngest aren't you, (same here) they never seem to treat you with the respect you deserve when your the youngest or it could just be they'd have ignored anyone at the time.
I think getting away and having a good time is a great idea!!
Write them a letter or email before you go, tell them how you feel so they can't ignore it and bury their heads in the sand.
You've all a big fall out to deal with its going to take a lot of time to get back to any normality again, be patient mate
