I have a source of a vectorbobs part I made in 1991 that uses 6 top bits of Z-coord+tweaks to not have to clear the "buckets". Bucket sort, hm. Never knew the name existed

Ola, Quicksort is great when the number of items is large. If it's like 50-80 polygons you might just use a scan for most distant poly, draw it and mark it as drawn, then scan again for the next poly.
