I'm not sure what you mean by "unpack them back to the A1200 ram".

You can definitely transfer ADF files from a PC to your A1200's hard disk (or even ram disk, is this what you meant?) using CrossDOS and then write them to Amiga floppies afterwards. Please be aware that some ADFs are too big to fit on PC floppies even when compressed but you can cut the files in half then reassemble them on the Amiga.
