The Vampire will kill most accelerator cards (and secondhand accelerator market) once it is available for most models. (And the rtg/memory/etc add-ons too!) Which isn't a bad thing considering the crazy prices for some today (price vs performance) or the failed projects of the past years, this card being another sad example.
Vampire (and kipper2k stuff!) proves it can be done cheap and good if you take the right architecture decisions at the start, egg on face for all the other hardware devs still around claiming they can't go cheaper.
