Thank you both for your support. I am happy to report that the issue was solved. Due to the fact that in the case of a SCSI2SD V5 it worked out of the box (which comes without manual & software) when I implemented the SCSI2SD in a GVP Impact Series II I thought this would be also the case for the Amiga 3000. This is not the case: As you suggested, it is necessary to configure it via a Micro USB cable (not included) and downloaded software which runs on different platforms (in my case Windows). With this it was easy: Configure the HDD as ID6 and set the size to 4GB - done. With this I was able to install Workbench 2.05 in the first run. I am sorry for being such a fool. But one question remains for me - is there any chance to come back into the Kickstart Selction Menu to choose Kickstart 1.3 or Kickstart 2.X from FDD or HDD?
