this is even interresting today when you only have a small ssd and want to save a bit of extra space.
i have set up all and it is working great (took the latest 15.05 beta 64bit 7za.exe), but i wonder if there is some 7zip experts around here who can optimize the commandline in order to:
- make use of 64bit multicores (not sure if this is possible, as zipmax stores temporary files of all used packers to determine the smallest created file and proceeds afterwards)
- set temporary folder to a different location (ramdisk instead of <zipmax path>\_ext_1)
here is the original commandline:
packer-exe-1 = 7za.exe
