I think something from the old news portal is missing and would be useful. For example look at my post about teh Catweasel press release. it's huge! how about the site condensing it for showing on the first page (รก la slashdot) and clicking "read more" to see the whole thing? I think it's a pain in the arse to have to scroll like that if the newspost is as huge as mine.
Where did the comments system go, as well?
